Neighborhood Committees

The Community Association is divided into Neighborhoods similar to that of the electoral college. Each Neighborhood is entitled to one vote in all Association election processes.

These Neighborhoods have a Chair and two additional members on their Committees. The Chair is responsible for serving on the Association’s Advisory Committee, acting as a liaison between property owners and the Board of Directors.  The Chair is also invited to attend the Association’s Annual Meeting each September, where they will elect the incoming Board of Directors members. A list of the current 2015-2017 Members is available to each resident by logging into this site and clicking Forms & Docs> Documents>Neighborhoods Designations & Committee Members>Neighborhood Committee Members & Addresses.

Due to the growth in our Dakota Dunes Community, The Board of Directors was tasked with creating additional Neighborhoods in July of 2014. The new map identifies each Neighborhood by color, which each home or lot being included in a neighborhood that has reached 75% or more in non-developer ownership. 

Neighborhood Committee elections are held bi-annually, the next commencing in August of 2017.
